The “It’s bigger in Texas” tour is off to a decent start


Two plus weeks in Houston, and I still feel like this is a big city. Eric is showing me around town on the weekends, and I’m occasionally exploring on my own. I’ll kick off the “It’s bigger…” tour with some recent photos:

At the Rodeo, a slice of pizza is literally a quarter of the entire pizza.

The historic Reliant Astrodome may only seat 60-thousand people, but its size is very impressive for being almost fifty years old and the first domed multi-purpose sports complex in the world. Compare it to the new Reliant Stadium that seats 70-thousand.

A few people have commented on the size of the crawfish. I assure you, the locals call these small.
